Bike Tour and Talk: A Ride through Erie’s Historic Neighborhoods

April 28, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am

We can’t think of a better way to end the work week than with a bike ride of Erie’s historic neighborhoods and landmarks. Local architect and Bike Erie president Adam Trott will lead the 12-15 mile tour alongside Terry Schwarz, Preservation Erie’s visiting lecturer who is the Director of Kent State University’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative and an avid cyclist. The ride will be a continuation of the discussion started with Ms. Schwarz’s keynote address “Small Cities Toolkit” given at the Greater Erie Awards the night before.

No cost. No registration required.

The ride will begin at the Education Center at the Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier Park, 1501 W. 6th Street.

This is a “rain or shine” event.

In partnership with Bike Erie, an advocacy group whose efforts focus on transforming our streets and communities into healthy, vibrant and accessible places for safe bicycling and active transportation for everyone.
