Safe Routes to School Public Forum

Are you concerned about walking and biking safely near schools in Erie? Join us to discuss challenges and opportunities for creating safe and inviting routes to our schools. Share your questions and ideas, and learn about solutions that create walkable and bikeable school neighborhoods.

Forum participants include:

No cost. No registration required.

Seating is limited to 60 attendees. Complimentary brown bag lunches are available on a first come/first serve basis.

Event is hosted collaboratively by the Boys & Girls Club of Erie and Preservation Erie as part of Preservation Erie’s Greater Erie Awards week.

NOTE: Improving children’s safety as they walk or bike to and from school is the focus of the local Safe Routes to School efforts, which align with the actions of the National Center for Safe Routes to School and PennDOT’s Safe Routes to School program.
